Remember when Liz Plank asked if you wanted to learn how to go viral? Of course you do. Well, guess what? Starting May 1, 2013, you (yes you!) have the opportunity to work with Liz directly through our Feminist Writing Skillshare

For the first time ever, PolicyMic is launching a hands-on mentorship to help young writers learn the ins and outs of op-ed writing and build an effective online presence, all while engaging in smart dialogue around race, feminism, sexuality and gender. 

About Liz: Liz holds a Masters degree from the London School of Economics. She's a critical thinker, a salty snack lover, and completely passionate about social justice. 

In the past 4 weeks, Liz's work has been mentioned by the New York Times, Canada's Globe and Mail, and retweeted by Fox News, Anonymous, and Feministing (just to name a few). Join our Feminist Writing Skillshare and Liz will teach you how to be a beast on Twitter, how to connect with the major players in online journalism, and how to build a portfolio of work around critical social justice issues.

How the Feminist Writing Skillshare works: The program begins on May 1, 2013 and will run for 8 weeks. Writers will produce a weekly column, participate in partake in special Google hangouts with Sam + Liz, and have access to regularly scheduled online training sessions in gender and politics writing. PolicyMic will promote writers’ content via social media and our newsletter (subscribe here).
