Luke Joeckel: Is His NFL Draft Stock in Free Fall?

Impact

Fox Sports' Jay Glazer is reporting that the Kansas City Chiefs will select Central Michigan's Eric Fisher with the number overall pick and not Texas A&M's Luke Joeckel. ESPN has also slid Joeckel down the board with Mel Kiper Jr. projecting him at number two to the Jacksonville Jaguars. ESPN draft expert Todd McShay goes a step further pushing the former sure-thing out of the top ten altogether. McShay believes that Joeckel will be selected by the San Diego Chargers with the 11th selection.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Fisher go first overall to the Chief, but don't expect Joeckel to slip past the Eagles at four. If Joeckel slips past the Jags, expect teams like Detroit, San Diego and Miami to explore trading up the former Aggie. Franchise left tackles don't fall ten spots on draft night.
