Kristen Wiig 'SNL' Recap: 5 Of the Best Skits

I anxiously awaited the May 11, 2013 Saturday Night Live episode for weeks. I re-watched Kristen Wiig skits and tried to do my best Target lady impression in the mirror and failed miserably. Wiig's ability to morph into any character is obviously part of her enormous appeal. It's what has won her comparisons to comedy legend and pioneer from the original SNL cast, Gilda Radner.

Every character she embodies seems to quickly embed itself within pop culture, as we find ourselves saying the lines over and over again to friends, family, and strangers. Saturday's episode was no different. Not every skit was a success, but overall it was a fun show and it made me miss Wiig's presence. The musical host Vampire Weekendperformed, though I will admit to putting the TV on mute during it, so I couldn't tell you if it was good or not.
