Oklahoma City Tornado Damage: 7 Students Found Dead from Plaza Towers Elementary School

Jim Roberts, executive editor of Reuters Digital, just tweeted the devastating news that KFOR is reporting at least 7 students from Plaza Towers Elementary School have been found dead.

The school was hit directly by the tornado while the 75 students and staff hid inside. It is reported that schools did not have tornado shelters in place.

The devastating news also comes as rescue operations just found one girl from the rubble. Nearby Briarwood Elementary School was also destroyed by the tornado but there were no student or faculty fatalities.
