Governor's Ball Lineup 2013: Full List Of Performers Here

Randall’s Island in the New York Harbor will host the Governor’s Ball music festival this weekend. New Yorkers and other tri-staters flock to the festival, which draws the big name musical artists but is a more convenient trip than Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, or Coachella.

This year, Governor’s organizers are expanding the festival to three days, in order to have the festival rise of above the ether of other, smaller NYC music festivals like the Great Googa Mooga (which had a rain cancellation) and compete in size and might with the big boys. With the lineup below in mind, you may seem some similar names from the headlines of yesteryear’s music festival. However, much of the joy from a music festival can be derived in seeing a given artist or band’s development from show to show, or from year to year.
