#IStandWithEdwardSnowden: 8 Tweets Showing Support For the Man Who Leaked PRISM

Impact

It's been just a couple hours since 29-year-old Edward Snowden revealed himself as the source of the leaked NSA documents that revealed widespread classified intelligence activities late last week, and already Twitter is lighting up with his name as the world learns the source of one of the most significant classified leaks in American history. Snowden chose voluntarily to reveal his identity, and says he has "no regrets" about his actions.

While Snowden remains locked in a Hong Kong hotel room, unsure of what will happen to him next, Twitter has been lit up by the hashtag #IStandWithEdwardSnowden. People from around the world are showing their support for the whistleblower, and beginning an active debate over whether Snowden is a danger or a patriot. What do you think?
