According to the band’s official twitter, @MumfordAndSons, the UK-based band postponed their scheduled shows in Dallas, TX, Woodlands, TX and New Orleans, LA due to bassist Ted Dwayne’s emergency hospital visit. A statement posted on the band’s official site said that, “Ted has been feeling unwell for a few days, and yesterday he was taken to a hospital to receive emergency treatment.”

The statement revealed that doctors found a blood clot on Dwayne’s brain that will require surgery. Despite the news, the band has been “assured that he will recover quickly from surgery.” The post concluded with “wishes for a speedy recovery” and “much love” to Dwayne from the band.

Mumford & Sons has been on the road performing songs from their album Babel, which was released in September 2012. “We have no plans to cancel or postpone any other appearances along this current tour," the band wrote. Mumford & Sons intend to resume their tour on Saturday for the much-anticipated Bonnaroo Music Festival.

Mumford & Sons will take flight this summer performing on many international stages. The band will return home to the UK and Ireland in late June and tour in Australia and Japan before returning back to the U.S.
