New Elder Scrolls Online Details

Culture

A lot of new details coming from Elder Scrolls interviews. Here are some of the highlights. As we know, the game will be released for next-gen consoles as well as PC. Mounts and pets will be present in the game. Loot will be instanced for each player, so that there will be no dividing or fighting over loot. Marriage, of a sorts, will be available for players (get ready for creepiness): players can engage in a ceremony that will present the two players with rings that increase experience when playing together. House ownership will not be an option.

Most importantly, open beta was announced as a planned possibility at an undefined point in the future. Right now, the game is in closed beta, by application. That means sometime before launch next spring, that beta will become public. I will be first in line.
