Day 3 of E3 Begins, Ouya Shut Out

Culture

As the official third day of the conference kicks off, we can recap a couple things that happened yesterday.

One eyebrow-raising series of events surrounded the new Ouya console, a Kick-started Android-powered device. The console was not invited to E3, and so set up shop across the street. The conference then rented out the spaces surrounding their booth and parked semi trucks in front of it. Then they sent police to escort the upstart console away.

Another questionable move coming out of the day was from Microsoft, which officially announced that for those people that cannot maintain an internet connection consistently, they should just stick to the Xbox 360 and let the big kids have their fun with the shiny new games and consoles. People without internet connections collectively laughed at Microsoft and proceeded to preorder Playstation 4s.
