Get College Credit Writing For PolicyMic

PolicyMic is making a big push to offer pundits the chance to earn university credit when they write for us. We've connected with dozens of academic and internship departments at universities across the country to make sure our community knows about available writing opportunities. Currently, we're accepting applications from students across the country who want to earn university credit nationwide as PolicyMic remote on-call writers.

About the for-credit writing program: PolicyMic provides remote internship opportunities to college students who seek a rigorous online-writing training program. The length of the internship depends on the requirements of the intern’s university or department — typically 10 to 20 hours per week for about 14 weeks. During working hours, writers work closely with the editorial team, writing articles based on their areas of interest and expertise.

We are now accepting applications for Fall 2013.

How to apply:

1) If you’re new to PolicyMic, apply to write for credit and join our team. Email Caira Conner (caira@policymic.com) with the following:

- Résumé + writing availability

- 3-4 topics you're interested in covering + short writing sample

2) If you’re already an on-call writer, and want to receive fall academic credit, email Caira Conner with your university requirements to fulfill internship or credit requirements.

How likely are you to make Mic your go-to news source?
