Aaron Hernandez Murder Connection? LIVE Video From News Helicopter Following Patriots TE

Impact

New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez is being linked to the shooting murder of Odin Lloyd, 27, whose body was found in an industrial park a half-mile away from Hernandez's home on Monday. A law-enforcement source told the station that Hernandez appears to be directly tied to the homicide — though he has not been named a suspect.

The victim is  a linebacker for the semi-pro Boston Bandits and had been dating the sister of Hernandez’s girlfriend.

According the reports by the New York Post, Hernandez, Lloyd, and two other were at a Boston bar together Sunday night and drove home together in a vehicle believe to have been rented in Hernandez's name.

After refusing to cooperate with the investigation yesterday, Hernandez stayed in his home. Today, however, Hernandez has left his home to go to Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots.

Hernandez has yet to say anything publicly, but his attorney, Michael Fee, had this to say: "It has been widely reported in the media that the state police have searched the home of our client, Aaron Hernandez, as part of an ongoing investigation."

His agency, Athletes First, and the Patriots had no comment Wednesday.
