"Breaking Bad" Season 6 Premiere: Weird Al Yankovic Gets You Excited

Culture

It's time for the fifth and final season of AMC's Breaking Bad. AMC is losing some of their best shows, but with both Mad Men and Breaking Bad about to leave it's only fair that those amazing shows get the lasting respect that they deserve.

Breaking Bad has crossed boundaries, tested people's lines of humanity, and turned Bryan Cranston from the lovable man-boy Hal from Malcolm in the Middle to Albuquerque resident Walter White a.k.a Heisenberg, who would shoot that man-boy in the face and then blame it on Malcolm. So in short, it's one of the greatest television shows of all time. It's the show that everyone and their mother enjoys for the sole reason that every episode will make you say, something along the lines of, "Holy mother of God! What just happened? My mind was blown!"

Remember how much everyone freaked out at Game of Thrones after the "Rains of Castamere" episode? That's how Breaking Bad makes you feel every episode, the only reason that you don't freak out every time is that you have to repress your natural urge to lose your mind, so you can see the next episode.

While Walter White's ornate schemes may make Tywin Lannister look like a simpleton, and Gustavo Fring's depravity makes Joffrey Baratheon look like Mother Theresa; the actors that play the characters do have a fun, not terrifying side to them. About two months ago, Breaking Bad's Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) teamed up with Funny or Die to create a mock trailer for a biopic about the life of "Weird" Al Yankovic.

While I would give all of the money that I currently have (plus my left kidney) to make that movie an actuality, it will never be made. However, to repay some the members of the cast of Breaking Bad for making a "Weird" Al movie trailer, the folks at the "Weird" Al Camp created a 12-minute video, with clips from Breaking Bad, set to the tune of "Weird" Al's "Albuquerque."

Words cannot describe the childlike joy that comes from this video, so enjoy.
