PolicyMic.com is seeking an editor to join our New York City-based team. PolicyMic is the news start-up that is revolutionizing online journalism. We are quickly becoming the place for millennials to read, write, and discuss the news. PolicyMic is a democratic media that is fun and engaging for readers while allowing the community to select the best writers.

Responsibilities. 

Manage and train our network of over 800+ writers in 35+ countries across the world Edit and publish our original stories Direct PolicyMic's editorial voice and produce original content that millennials want to read and talk about

Skills.

Passion for changing the world and empowering our generation Experience with SEO, analytics tools, and new media (ability to write content, edit, and promote work using social media) MA/BA in journalism, communications, English or political science preferred Social media guru (Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Google+, etc.)
