Apple is unveiling its newest technology, the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c alongside iOS7, live from Cupertino at 1PM ET. Rumors have it that Apple will not be live streaming the event from its own page, Apple Events.

"Mr. Cook, Apple’s chief executive, has walked on stage to loud applause from the audience. He’s wearing his usual uniform: a black button-up shirt and dark jeans. He’s thanking everyone for coming," Reports the New York Times.

Cook began the event by addressing iOS 7, Apple's latest software. 

"iOS 7 will present you with a screen that lets you download these apps," it will be a free update. iWork updates will also be free.

"Downloading iOS 7 is like getting an all new device," Cook told the audience. 

Cook said that next month, Apple will ship the 700 millionth iOS device.
