Former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer is not doing spectacularly in his bid for NYC comptroller. With nearly 50% of precincts reporting, he's behind by roughly 10,000 votes, losing to Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer:
This is a big problem for Spitzer, who is seeing the gap quickly widen as the race continues. It's still close, but the divide doesn't appear to be shrinking, and it's unclear whether the remaining districts will favor the former governor.
At least Ashley Dupre is dong pretty well these days, all things considered?
