Anthony Weiner Concedes: It's Over For Carlos Danger

How low the mighty have fallen.

Anthony Weiner is giving his concession speech now. Current estimates put him at roughly 5% of the vote. It seems like his political career is probably over — although we said that two years ago as well.

The money quote of his speech? "We had the best ideas. Sadly, I was an imperfect messenger."

Watching Weiner give his speech, it's not hard to see why he was the front-runner for a brief moment. He's by far the best retail politician in the race. But yeah — New Yorkers have dodged a bullet on this one.
