Live Update Wednesday 6:00 PM Center of Dallas Untouched. Residents of Highland Park in the center of Dallas reported not even receiving any rain and going about their business as usual. Construction crews were working up on houses as Tornadoes misssed the area.
3:30 PM Assessing the Damage: As experts assessed reports that up to 18 tornadoes hit the Dallas area on Tuesday, the cleanup and rebuilding began Wednesday for thousands of residents from the more than 800 homes destroyed or damaged.
NBC News reports that, "Among the hardest cities hit were the Dallas suburbs of Arlington, where more than 400 homes were damaged, and Lancaster, where some 300 structures were damaged and 10 people were injured, two seriously,according to NBCDFW.com."

9:08 AM As Jason Whitely reports, 12 tornadoes touched down yesterday in Dallas - Fort Worth with no deaths reported.
10:15 PM Three people were injured in Arlington, including two residents of a nursing home who were taken to a hospital with minor injuries after swirling winds clipped the building, city assistant fire chief Jim Self said.
"It was like 'The Wizard of Oz,' " said Gwen Dabbs to CNN, who wasn't able to make it to an interior room before the storm blew her windows out. She huddled in a corner of her living room covered with blankets as the tornado passed.
"My body is sore from being in the corner. But I don't have not a cut, not a scratch, and I'm so thankful. Thank you, Lord," she said.

7:00 PM As Jason Whitely reports, the city has not reported any major injuries or deaths from today's tornadoes, which would be an amazing feat of public safety.
Golf ball sized hail came down on certain parts of Dallas.
Kennedal, TX was hit with a massive hail storm.

A tornado emergency has been reported in Dallas, Texas, with reports of two twisters and massive damage.
At least two “serious” tornadoes have touched down near Dallas, according to reports from news outlets in the region.
"The National Weather Service reported at least two separate 'large and extremely dangerous' tornadoes south of Dallas and Fort Worth. Dallas Police spokeswoman Sherri Jeffrey said an apparent twister touched down and caused damage within the city's southern limits," USA reports.
The National Weather Service said "considerable damage" had been reported near Cleburne, south of Fort Worth, and Lancaster, south of Dallas.
Live TV footage on CNN and MSNBC showed large twisters ripping through the area, lifting tractor trailers off the ground and tossing them around.
“I’ve never seen anything like this,” a local NBC News correspondent told parent site MSNBC.com.
A tornado emergency warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for eastern Texas and will be in effect until at least 8 p.m.
The Dallas Red Cross took to social media in an effort to warn local residents.
All regional airports have grounded their flights.
The first funnel cloud was spotted on the ground at 1:01 p.m. in Ellis County.
The Irving Independent School District reported sending students into an emergency shelter.
"A code black was issued at Parkland Hospital in the Dallas, ordering all patients to be kept a safe distance from the windows," according to ABC News.
No injuries have been reported.
