Brashear High School Shooting LIVE Video: 3 Shot Outside Pittsburgh School

Pittsburgh Police dispatch is reporting that officers are responding to a "possible shooting" outside Brashear High School.

Update, 5:52 p.m.: CBS reporter Tim Williams says that police have a suspect in custody, 16-year-old A.J. Willett, who allegedly exited the woods opposite the school and opened fire on students leaving. No word yet as to motive.

Update, 3:53 p.m.: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette crime reporter Liz Navratil says that the victims were hit as they exited the high school.

The shooting apparently occurred at approximately 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday, shortly after the 2:46 p.m. dismissal time. However, no further details have been released.

Original: At least three people were struck by gunfire outside the school just before 3:00 p.m. EST. Two injured ran inside and school personnel were able to lock down the facilities. The extent of the injuries to those two individuals who entered the premises is unknown, but paramedics are treating a third victim with a gunshot wound to the leg on Lowenhill Avenue nearby.

Police are searching for the shooter in the nearby forest.

According to the Tribune-Review, Brashear High School, "located at 590 Crane Ave. in the South Hills, is a magnet school for computer science" with approximately 1,416 students.
