Probably the LOLiest Political Ad You'll See in a While

How do you leave an impression with voters when you’re running in a crowded Republican primary for a congressional seat from Georgia’s 10th district? Take a page from one of the most popular – and viral – videos of the year.

That’s exactly what Mike Collins did. Watch Collins’ parody remake of Jean-Claude Van Damme’s stunning Volvo split ad: 

Collins is “confronted with Obamacare,” he says in the video’s narration, a “disastrous government program.” Perhaps Collins is trying to appeal to voters who feel themselves stretched too thin by the Affordable Care Act.

Though Collins doesn’t go quite as far as Van Damme, he does get the music right, and you have to give the guy credit for even trying. 

But what I really want to know: Can I just vote for Van Damme?
