Does Fox News Have Any Male Anchors Who Aren't Chauvinist Pigs?

Impact

The news: Another day, another oafish Fox News anchor who thinks making sexist jokes at the expense of women everywhere is hilarious.

Our latest tricksters — because apparently one per segment isn't enough — are Greg Gutfeld and Eric Bolling, co-hosts of The Five. Immediately following a report on Major Mariam Al Mansouri, the United Arab Emirates' first female fighter pilot who led the airstrikes on ISIS, Gutfeld coughed up the following gem: "The problem is after she bombed it she couldn't park it."

Not to be outdone, Bolling then chimed in with his own prodigious brand of analysis:

"Would that be considered boobs on the ground or no?"

Gosh, you fellas really know how to make a lady feel special, dontcha?

The rest of the show's hosts appeared to be appropriately disgusted. "Why would you ruin [my segment]?" said Kimberly Guilfoyle. "Did you just say what I thought you said?" asked Bob Beckel. In response, Gutfeld let out a hearty chuckle. Because, silly us, blatant sexism is a knee-slapper.

That would be appalling behavior at any time, but it's particularly galling in a week in which Fox News has been devoting significant coverage to "lattegate," the supposed scandal over President Obama saluting his marine guards while holding a cup of coffee.

Between this and the recent rash of victim-blaming and woman-shaming, we can't wait to see what Fox News comes up with next. Actually, we can.
