Flying wine and broken glass have become staples of the myriad Real Housewives franchises.

Let’s take a look at how the drink throw has evolved over the years.

In season one of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa Giudice screamed at Danielle Staub, flipped a table and, in doing so, technically threw several drinks.

In Real Housewives of Orange County, Tamra Barney and Jeana Keough gave us the first textbook drink throw: a housewife throwing wine in another’s face.

In Real Housewives of New York City, Ramona Singer tossed wine into Kristen Taekman’s face. And Taekman splashed Singer’s hair, ruining her perfect blowout.

During season five of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Brandi Glanville turned a dinner into a real-life soap scene when she splashed wine at Eileen Davidson.

Things came full circle during season eight of RHONJ when Staub flew into a rage, grabbed everything within reach on a dining table and started hurling glasses.

It’ll be interesting to see if the Housewives wine throw is here to stay and will evolve with the next decade of drama.
