There's Already a Lego Version of the 'Star Wars' Trailer, and It's Almost as Amazing

Culture

On Friday, the very first teaser trailer for the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens film was finally released, and it was absolutely amazing. Sure, it didn't reveal a whole lot, but there was certainly enough to get the entire Internet excited with anticipation. That included careful dissections of the new lightsaber, plenty of fan art and now this spectacular shot-for-shot trailer remake, made entirely out of Lego blocks.

Yes, Lego.

Take a look:

In less than 24 hours, YouTuber Snooperking put together this very impressive Lego trailer with impeccable accuracy. For comparison, here are a few key shots:

See? You can hardly tell the difference!

In all likelihood, this Lego trailer is just the first of what will surely be many pieces of fan-made art as anticipation will only continue to grow for what could very well be the movie of 2015. And even though Star Wars: The Force Awakens won't hit theaters until next December, if fans keep making anything as awesome as this, we might be able to hold off until then. (But really, who are we kidding?)
