OVO Festival 2015: Lineup, Ticket Info, Schedule and Preview

Culture

Each year, Drake's OVO Festival seems to be a huge smash. And each year, his star-studded lineup always happens to be even more exciting than the last.

OVO Fest, taking place this year at Toronto's Air Canada Centre from August 1-3, promises a jam-packed experience for any hip-hop fan attending the music festival. Comedian Kevin Hart will be opening OVO on Saturday, and Drake will close the event when he takes the stage Monday night.

The surprise acts he brings up in between those performances, however, is anyone's guest. Billboard reports previous surprise performances include Lauryn Hill, Stevie Wonder, Nicki Minaj, Eminem, Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Kanye West and Diddy, among others.

This year, OVO Fest will also host J. Cole's summer tour on Saturday. Audiences will be able to catch performances throughout the day and night from J. Cole and his tour's lineup, which includes Big Sean, YG, Jermih, Bas, Cozz and Omen.

You can purchase tickets for LiveNation's OVO Fest through Ticketmaster. As of Monday, tickets for general admission were still available for each day of the festival.

Last year, Lauryn Hill, Usher, 50 Cent and G-unit all joined Drake when he headlined the festival with Outkast. The Canadian rapper has headlined the festival for five years, bringing on different performers with him each year, and even some other surprise guests, like his mother.

The sixth installment of OVO Fest follows Drake's surprise mixtape, which dropped earlier this year, If You're Reading This It's Too Late. Although there has been quite a bit of talk about OVO releasing a documentary made from festival footage, Rolling Stone reports these are just rumors.
