'Teachers' on TV Land: Full Preview, Cast Info and How to Watch Online

Teachers, a new scripted comedy from TV Land, will have its series premiere this week. The pilot episode of the series, which is already available online, will air on TV Land on Wednesday at 11 p.m. Eastern.

The show, which follows the exploits of six 20-something elementary school teachers, is the brainchild of the Katydids, an all-woman improv group consisting of Caitlin Barlow, Cate Freedman, Kate Lambert, Katie O'Brien, Katy Colloton and Kathryn Renée Thomas.

The Katydids originally launched Teachers as a web series. The series was picked up by TV Land in 2014, with all six of the Katydids signing on to write and star in the television show.

Teachers is executive produced by Alison Brie, Ian Roberts and Jay Martel.
