How Long Was the National Anthem by Lady Gaga at Super Bowl 50?

The Super Bowl and its immense popularity has become an American tradition, from the notable athletes, plays, halftime show and commercials. Of course, a staple of the Super Bowl — and all sporting events across the United States — is the singing of the national anthem. This year, Lady Gaga performed the "Star-Spangled Banner," and had an exquisite rendition of the challenging and powerful song. 

Every year, among the many prop bets available for bettors at the Super Bowl, people had a chance to place bets on the length of the national anthem performance, with the over/under this year on online sports book OddsShark being 2 minutes and 22 seconds. How did she do?

According to the online sports book Bovada, Lady Gaga finished the performance in 2 minutes and 9 seconds. However, there was some controversy surrounding the rendition because she had freestyled a bit on her own, and Will Brinson of CBS Sports said he "personally timed her at 2:29 from the first piano note to the last note she sang." In response, Bovada.lv confirmed that the official completion of the song was at the final 'brave.'

Controversy aside, it was perfectly executed by Lady Gaga, and her full performance of the "Star-Spangled Banner" can be seen below:
