It may come as no surprise, but 74% of all internet users also log onto social media, according to a 2014 report by the Pew Research Center. For some, social media is a form of staying connected with friends. For others, it's a way to brand and network for their business ventures.

But juggling Twitter, Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram and more can become a difficult task that ends up draining both you and your phone battery. That's when it's time to turn to another app: a trusty social media manager.

Social media managers can help you organize your feeds, schedule tweets and posts, analyze your impression and, more importantly, let you breathe a sigh of relief. Below are five of the best apps to get your social networking life in check:

1. Everypost

Everypost/iTunes

Everypost is a free app that lets you schedule and post content onto Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, LinkedIn and many other platforms. It even lets you post onto multiple platforms at once. For Twitter, Everypost will automatically shorten the tweet to fit the 140 character cap.

2. Hootsuite

Hootsuite/iTunes

At no cost, users can use Hootsuite to manage up to three social network accounts. The app allows you to schedule messages and posts and monitor specific hashtags and words — all with just one login. No more switching between browsers or accounts.

3. Sprout Social

Sprout Social/iTunes

With a Sprout Social account, users can post and reply to messages and feeds in a flash. But more importantly, they can also monitor the amount of shares and clicks each post receives.

4. Buffer

Buffer/iTunes

Like many other apps, Buffer helps you schedule posts, but it specializes in making it as easy as possible. All you have to do is set your posting schedule and then easily add the posts you want to share to a queue. It automatically posts for you at the set time so you don't have to decide manually.

5. Pocket

Pocket/iTunes

Pocket isn't directly related to social media but it is a great tool to save the things you want to read and subsequently share to your followers later. This free app helps you save articles or videos for you to view later, even offline. It's perfect for people who want to stay on top of the web's best content and easily share to their social media (and real life) friends.
