The Academy Awards are a long, exhaustive ceremony filled with a plethora of awards — all of which, seemingly, will go to Mad Max: Fury Road. Therefore, it's only fitting that Oscars host Chris Rock decided to help the audience satisfy any cravings they may have, while simultaneously helping his daughter score some major sales Sunday.

Citing his busy work preparing to host the awards show, Rock said his daughter was frustrated he wasn't able to help her sell Girl Scout cookies at the same volume as her peers. Thus, he brought the group onstage to reap the benefits of Hollywood's most prestigious awards show.

"I want you to reach into your millionaire pockets and buy some of my daughter's Girl Scout cookies," Rock said to the audience.

The sketch mirrored what 2014 Oscars host Ellen DeGeneres worked into her routine — incorporating Edgar Martirosyan. Is the name unfamiliar? Well, Martirosyan is the franchisee of Big Mama's and Papa's Pizzeria Hollywood, and DeGeneres aided him in delivering his pizzas to members of the star-studded audience.

"[Ellen] said, 'Just follow me,' and I'm going and I'm on a stage," Martirosyan told ABC News in 2014. "I was in shock."

For Rock's sketch, Twitter took note of the parallels to DeGeneres' bit — while also doling out praise to Rock.
