Amy Schumer's Book 'The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo' Release Date Announced

On Tuesday morning, comedian, actress and now author Amy Schumer took to Twitter to announce her memoir, The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo, will be released on Aug. 16. "If you write it, they will come," Schumer tweeted. The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo can be pre-ordered from several retailers

True to the Schumer style everyone knows and loves, The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo, published by an imprint of Simon & Schuster called Gallery Books, "will feature personal and observational stories from Schumer that range from the raunchy to the romantic, the heartfelt to the harrowing," according to Schumer's website

The multimillion-dollar book deal is Schumer's second, the New York Times reported in September. In 2013, the Emmy winner canceled a deal with HarperCollins to pursue her first feature film, Trainwreck
