Zayn Malik got to work early Thursday morning.

As the former One Direction singer promised Wednesday, he would have a new track for fans Thursday morning at 6 a.m. Eastern. He delivered on that promise in a big way, dropping "Like I Would," asking fans to "Turn this shiz up!" — like he would, presumably.

The song shares the same full-voiced anthemic quality of his debut "Pillow Talk." A driving house beat pushes the listener through the chorus where Zayn claims: "He won't love you like I would/ He don't know your body."

Die-hards in Zayn's newly christened "Zquad" fan army scrambled to praise the R&B heartthrob's mastery of yet another genre. The response on Twitter was deafening, and since its the title has already started trending on Twitter.

If you're not down with the new Zayn, you may want to stay clear of the Internet when his debut album Mind of Mine drops March 25.
