Paul Ryan Hottest VP Pick: Ryan ACDC Reference at RNC Proves VP Nominee is Conservative Cool

Impact

He did it. At the Wednesday night RNC festivities Paul Ryan got on stage and proved that he has just what it takes to be the cooler half of the Romney/Ryan duo. What was the cool quote that pushed him over the cool factor edge into super cool "young people" territory? "We’re a full generation apart, Governor Romney and I. And, in some ways, we’re a little different. There are the songs on his iPod, which I’ve heard on the campaign bus and on many hotel elevators. He actually urged me to play some of these songs at campaign rallies. I said, I hope it’s not a deal-breaker Mitt, but my playlist starts with AC/DC, and ends with Zeppelin."

The crowd may have even cheered louder for his musical taste than they did for his stance on Oabamcare: "You would think that any president, whatever his party, would make job creation, and nothing else, his first order of economic business. But this president didn’t do that. Instead, we got a long, divisive, all-or-nothing attempt to put the federal government in charge of health care. Obamacare comes to more than two thousand pages of rules, mandates, taxes, fees, and fines that have no place in a free country."

Since Ryan was announced as Romney's VP pick, conservative Americans have been going as gaga for his looks and edge as they have for his policies. Tonight's quote only escalates him to super cool status.
