One of the most talked-about stars of the first episode, Jodie Sweetin of Full House (and now Fuller House), performed a high-energy routine with partner Keo Motsepe that earned high praise from the judges. Clad in matching purple outfits, the two performed a Tango set to the Demi Lovato song "Confident."

Other DWTS contestants also left a lasting impression with their first dances, including reporter Geraldo Rivera, whose cha-cha with partner Edyta Sliwinska earned the pair the lowest score of the night.

This season of DWTS' roster of celebrity contestants includes actress Mischa Barton, former NFL quarterback Doug Flutie and meteorologist Ginger Zee. DWTS airs Monday nights on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern.
