Pornhub Says Virtual Reality Rigs Are Giving Porn Stars Boner Problems

It's not always easy filming porn with a huge load on your chest.

No one knows it better than the Pornhub performers filming virtual reality sex scenes. While shooting the 360-degree smut, which Pornhub released in March, performers reportedly had to wear a VR camera rig — and that shit was heavy.

"I've heard that male talent has a lot of trouble keeping it up with such heavy gear on their chests," Pornhub VP Corey Price said in a reddit AMA this week. 

In the AMA, Price added that because of the erection-murdering camera rig, the scenes "often" had to be filmed "multiple times." It seems not everyone is as excited about emerging technology! 

If you haven't yet incorporated a face prison into your wank routine, the Pornhub 360-degree content is an immersive smut film shot from the point of view of a dude (of course) lying on his back, staring down at the barrel of his love gun.

Price didn't disclose which camera the male talent is housing on their chests, but a camera rig can be a bit of an unwieldy contraption. The GoPro Odyssey, for example, weighs in at 14.5 pounds. It's like having someone fucking you with a Keurig coffeemaker strapped to your chest. Not like the biggest turn-on of all time.
