Ryan Reynolds broke the fourth wall plenty in Deadpool, and now he's doing more of the same in an Honest Trailer for his own movie, featured on the Screen Junkies YouTube channel that focuses on films and TV. He really is a postmodern asshole.

Deadpool joined the Honest Trailer's narrator in critiquing the movie, which — as the narrator puts it — is an R-rated film you "had to be 17 to see, but 16 to fully appreciate." However, he took offense to his comment that Deadpool, at its core, is a "by-the-numbers revenge plot we've seen a million times before."

"Whoa whoa whoa, simmer down there big boy," Deadpool says, infuriated. "'By-the-numbers?' What the fuck is that supposed to mean?"

"Hey, I said I liked it in the beginning," the narrator responds. "I think it's fair to point out some flaws, too." Now, the Merc with a Mouth wasn't going to hold back.

Deadpool reveals he's really there to promote his movie coming out on DVD and Blu-ray Disc, and because it was so well received, the narrator should be gracious to have him. Except, you know, he says this in a very Deadpool way.

"Everyone is sucking my dick now, and you sure as shit should be too," he says. Suffice to say, much like the film, this Honest Trailer is probably not suitable for kids.
