Anxiety can be a bitch. And dating someone who suffers from it can mean having to step up and be a loving and supportive voice during particularly anxious times.

A celebrity couple that knows this: #Zigi.

Everyone's favorite ex-1D heartthrob Zayn Malik recently had to cancel a tour date to deal with what appears to have been an anxiety attack.

"I have suffered the worst anxiety of my career," he wrote in a vague tweet Saturday. "I know those who suffer anxiety will understand and I hope those who don't can empathize with my situation."

Gigi Hadid — who it seems is definitely his girlfriend again — tweeted her support for him the next day.

"Your honesty last night proved what you're all about, being real," loving and supportive partner Hadid wrote. "We are all here to support you and make each experience easier."

Perhaps some members of the Zigi fandom can relate to this particular issue, as anxiety disorders are fairly common. According to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, they affect 40 million adults in the U.S. But enough about anxiety — Zigi is back on! Love is real. #Zigi4Ever.
