Latina Poet Has This Message for Donald Trump: "We're Here to Stay"

"This land is ours for the keeping and we ain't going nowhere."

That's the main message Latina poet Mercedez Holtry has for presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in her poem "We're Here to Stay."

The point? Trump's racist generalizations about Mexicans are nothing new and aren't going to drive them out of the United States.

Holtry performed the scathing poem in March at the 2016 Women of the World Poetry Slam in Brooklyn, New York.
