Utah hates porn so much it hired a dog to sniff out your smut-streaming devices.

The Weber County Sheriff's Office introduced the state's first "porn dog," named URL, to the world in a Facebook post on Tuesday. The post said that the 16-month-old black lab was trained by the same person who "played a key role in the arrest of Subway pitchman, Jared Fogle." URL can reportedly sniff out thumb drives, cell phones, SIM cards, SD cards, external hard drives, tablets and iPads.

"Whether it's child porn, terrorism intelligence, narcotics or financial crimes information, URL has the ability to find evidence hidden on basically any electronic memory," the post reads.

The sheriff's office post says that URL doesn't search for illegal materials like drugs, but has a "highly sensitive nose" that can detect "unique chemical compounds" in certain parts of the electronics like the ones listed above.

URL the "porn dog" is part of a war on smut in the Beehive state. This year, Utah State Sen. Todd Weiler introduced a bill that declared porn a "public health crisis", and the senator has since said he is drafting legislation that would require cell phone manufacturers to bake porn-blocking filters right in their devices, which could only be removed if the user can verify they are 18 or older.

Weiler has referred to smartphones as "a vending machine for porn," according to KSTU

Sounds like a job for URL.
