Is Instagram Down on July 26? Here's How to Get the App to Work Again

Instagram was down Tuesday for plenty of users, including me. For about 12 hours starting on Monday evening, every time I tried to open the app, it would shut down within moments. 

Turns out I'm not alone. Instagram was down for a lot of other users too. 

Of course, there are always a few lucky ducks out there whose apps are working fine while the rest of us suffer, unable to see our friends' brunch photos. Rude.

Thankfully, there's a simple solution. All you have to do is delete the app from your phone and download it again, Instagram told Mic in an email acknowledging the issue. This method worked for us, and we can finally Instagram in peace.

If that doesn't work, try using Instagram on your mobile or desktop browser.
