#TrumpSacrifices Mocks Donald Trump for Saying He's Made "A Lot of Sacrifices"
During a powerful speech at the Democratic National Convention, Khizr Khan, the father of Army Capt. Humayun Khan, a Muslim American soldier who was killed in Iraq in 2004, took a stand against Trump's Islamophobia. "You have sacrificed nothing!" Khizr Khan said, directed at Trump, during his speech.
Predictably, the Republican presidential candidate responded with attacks on Capt. Khan's family, and refuted Khizr Khan's assertion that he hasn't sacrificed anything for his country.
"I think I've made a lot of sacrifices. I work very, very hard," Trump said in an interview with ABC News. "I've created thousands and thousands of jobs, tens of thousands of jobs, built great structures. I've had tremendous success. I think I've done a lot."
Naturally, Twitter users tried to imagine what a Trump sacrifice would really look like.
