Despite the subpar living conditions for the athletes and the numerous health hazards attributed to the region, the 2016 Rio Olympics are underway — and there's good news for the United States. So far, the United States is owning the medal standings, with 12 total from the first weekend of competition.

The Americans could increase their medal tally in the men's gymnastics competition, which will air its finals Monday and Wednesday for individual and all-around gymnastics, respectively. How can passionate, TV-less gymnastics fans check out the games online?

Yay, sports!  Giphy

NBC will helm all of Olympics coverage on its website, for cable subscribers and on its mobile app, NBC Sports. According to Vulture, along with the other sports available online, over 4,500 hours of Olympics content will be available on the platform. So the individual men's gymnastics final will air on the streaming service 3 p.m. Monday.
