Ghostbusters star and Saturday Night Live cast member Leslie Jones, who in recent days has electrified the Twitterverse with her tweets on the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, is going to attend the games to provide her unique brand of commentary in person.

Jones' viral tweets, which featured everything from enthusiastic commentary on the day's events to Jones wearing an American flag-patterned jumpsuit, has earned her a slot on NBC's official coverage, Deadline reported Monday.

Jones announced the news in a characteristically buoyant tweet Monday afternoon.

According to Variety, the offer was extended by Olympics executive producer Jim Bell, and Jones will be joining NBC Sports for the duration of the competition.

Jones recently left Twitter after right-wing agitator Milo Yiannopoulos organized a troll campaign to her racist posts and images via the site, but her subsequent return seems to have left her (and her fans) with the last laugh.
