'The Case Of: JonBenet Ramsey': Trailer for CBS Limited Series on Unsolved Murder Is Here

Source: CBS

Americans' true-crime fascination will continue to be satisfied this fall with another investigation of an infamous case: the mysterious murder of JonBenet Ramsey. CBS is revisiting the murder case as part of a six-episode limited series, The Case Of: JonBenet Ramsey, which will bring together original investigators of the case with new experts from the FBI, New Scotland Yard and more.

The series comes to TV as a memorial of the 20th anniversary of Ramsey's death; the 6-year-old beauty pageant winner who was found dead in her home in Boulder, Colorado, along with a cryptic ransom note after her parents reported her missing.

The trailer for the new series strongly suggests that the investigators have found compelling new evidence for the murder case — though because it's just a trailer, nothing too specific can be etched out. However, it's clear that CBS is sparing no expense for the new series, as the investigators were able to create stunningly accurate replicas of key rooms in the Ramsey household within a large warehouse.

The Case Of: JonBenet Ramsey premieres on CBS Sept. 18, with the six-hour season running over the course of a week, culminating on Sept. 25. Watch the trailer below.
