Frank Ocean's 'Endless' is here, but 'Boys Don't Cry' may still be coming this weekend

In the middle of the night Thursday, Frank Ocean pulled the most confused Beyoncé the music industry has seen thus far. For two weeks, fans had been expecting the album Boys Don't Cry to drop when Ocean finished building his livestreamed spiral staircase. Yet the project turned out to be something completely different — a 45-minute, 16-track echoey visual album titled Endless

However, it seems this is just the tip of the iceberg in Ocean's grand design. Apparently, Boys Don't Cry is an entirely separate project, and it's still on the way, according to a Rolling Stone report citing unnamed sources. Apple will release [this next album] "this weekend," Rolling Stone reported. A later update later clarified that project also will not be called Boys Don't Cry.

There is also still no sign of the Boys Don't Cry magazine, which Frank Ocean first teased for a July 2015 release and supposedly will also come with "two versions."

Mic has reached out to Apple Music and Frank Ocean's team for comment and will update if we hear back.

This story is breaking and will be updated as more information becomes available.
