US Olympic gymnasts Simone Biles, Aly Raisman and co. just tore up the VMAs red carpet
U.S. Olympic gymnasts Aly Raisman, Madison Kocian, Laurie Hernandez and Simone Biles ditched their glitter-adorned leotards in favor of equally sparkly dresses for Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards.
And it's safe to say that the gold medal winners, who will be presenting at Sunday night's show, were this year's red carpet #squadgoals. (Sorry Taylor Swift.)
Many Twitter users noted that one member of the Final Five, Gabby Douglas, was missing from the carpet.
"The #FinalFive at the #VMAs are seriously G O A L S right now... missing the beautiful @gabrielledoug though," one wrote.
"OMFG THEY LOOK SO GOOD #squadgoals #FinalFive #VMAs missin @gabrielledoug tho," said another.
A few hours before the show, Douglas tweeted, "Out of hospital&resting comfortably! #FinalFive sad I can't be with u 2 present tonite."
It is currently unclear why Douglas was in the hospital. "I think she's feeling a little better, but she's staying home as a precaution," Biles told People on the red carpet. "We're sad she couldn't be here to enjoy this with us. We miss her!"
And so do we.
