Jeb Bush showed up at the 2016 Emmy Awards opening, and Twitter is freaking out

Host Jimmy Kimmel opened the 2016 Emmys with a sketch featuring referencing several series up for nominations — including American Crime Story; The People vs. O.J. Simpson, Modern Family and Veep. Kimmel even tried to catch a ride to the awards show with the help of the respective casts.

But when Kimmel tried to join Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Selena Meyer in her presidential limo, he didn't expect the chauffeur to be none other than former Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush.

Bush, touting that he can make $12 an hour as an Uber driver, poked fun at himself and his failed campaign before driving off by literally shouting, "Jeb, exclamation point!"

Naturally, Bush shocked the Twitterverse. They even mistook him for a famous comedian: Chevy Chase.
