Eggo waffle recall: Kellogg's recalling Nutri-Grain whole wheat variety due to listeria

The Kellogg's Company is recalling a variety of Eggo waffles due to possible listeria contamination. 

Kellogg's is voluntarily recalling about 10,000 cases of Eggo Nutri-Grain whole wheat waffles, according to a press release on the company's website. No other variety is affected by the recall.

The possibly contaminated waffles were distributed in 25 states. Customers can identify if their Eggos are part of the recall by looking at the UPC code on the box and the date.

There have been no reported cases of illness due to the waffles.

Listeria can be fatal in children, the elderly and people with compromised immune systems.
