The latest trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the first of three planned films in the Harry Potter spinoff series, gives viewers its best look at the wizarding world in the U.S., as well as the aforementioned beasts wreaking havoc in New York City.

The trailer — which made its debut on The Ellen DeGeneres Show — depicts the mounting tension between the wizarding world and the muggles (or "no-maj" as they're called in America, per J.K. Rowling). Obviously, a British wizard (Eddie Redmayne) entering the country and subsequently releasing a bunch of mystical creatures won't help matters.
