Kim Kardashian reportedly held at gunpoint in hotel room in Paris

Approximately an hour after hip-hop superstar Kanye West left a concert at New York's Citi Field stadium mid-performance due to a "family emergency," the cause of that emergency became clear: Socialite and business mogul Kim Kardashian West, his spouse, had been held up at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room, according to CNN.

Kardashian West was reportedly not harmed during the incident.

"Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers," Kardashian West spokesperson Ina Treciokas told CNN. "She is badly shaken but physically unharmed."

According to People, Kardashian West was bound by her hands and feet and locked in a bathroom. The men reportedly made off with two cellphones, a jewelry box and a ring worth approximately $4.5 million. 

No one was harmed in the incident, according to the French Interior Ministry. Kardashian West's two children, North and Saint, were not involved in the incident, according to People.

The magazine also reported that Kardashian West gave a statement to authorities and has since left Paris on a private jet

Kardashian West was in Paris for Fashion Week.
