Arby's is now offering venison burgers because sure, go for it

Impact

Arby's locations in six states — Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Georgia — will be offering customers the chance to finish what the hunter in Bambi started.

From Oct. 31 to Nov. 27, select restaurants in those states will be serving venison sandwiches, Arby's announced Tuesday. While Arby's is mostly known for serving thin-sliced roast beef, the new steak-style sandwiches look much meatier.

"Bringing venison to our menu also allows us to continue to set ourselves apart from the competition when it comes to proteins," Rob Lynch, Arby's brand president and chief marketing officer, told USA Today. "You simply can't find this at other restaurant chains."

That would certainly seem to qualify as true.
