Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has won the state of Missouri, the Associated Press reported at 10:25 p.m.

Missouri voters have chosen the GOP candidate in every presidential election since 2000, but victory in the Show Me State wasn't always a given for Trump.

Polls have been all over the map in Missouri during this election. Some have shown Trump with a healthy lead of 18 percentage points, while others have had Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton up by 9 points.

Still, before the election FiveThirtyEight gave Trump a more than 90% chance of winning the state.

Missouri has 10 electoral votes.
