The Black Friday shopping bonanza begins Nov. 25, and major retailers have shared their holiday discounts well ahead of time.

Electronics and video games are expected to be the most popular and coveted items on sale. The bigger, show-stopping deals probably won't be announced until closer to Thanksgiving, but here's a few items for you to add to your Christmas list while you wait.

Best Buy unveiled its 2016 Black Friday ad, which includes deals on everything from special edition consoles to new games and headsets. If you were holding out on upgrading your video game library or picking up something new, now is the time to do it. Deals will be available online starting on Thanksgiving, and most stores' doors open at 5 p.m.

Kohl's is offering up steep discounts for video game fanatics this year. The retailer has slashed prices on its most popular games and will be dishing out $15 in "Kohl's cash" for every $50 spent during the Black Friday shopping season, which will make 2016's prices even lower.

This year's deals are available all day online starting Thursday, Nov. 24, and in-store at 6 p.m.
